2005 will be the Year of Languages ("YOL"). This year-long observance is designed to promote the importance and value of language proficiency to students, parents and the community at large. It will be marked by special events, competitions and other activities at the local, state, regional and national levels. FLAG encourages everyone to use this as theme for workshops, events, and other appropriate activities that you may plan to hold during 2005.
