Subject Summer FL Conference in Jacksonville

Hi David!
Would you please forward this e-mail to the members of FLAG? We are having a summer foreign language conference in Jacksonville and thought perhaps some of the southern Georgia folks might like to attend, especially as we will have Deborah Blaz as our keynote speaker and pre-conference presenter.
Attached are the registration forms. Please let your members know that if any of them are interested in attending, we will reduce their registration fees as they would not have to pay the $10 dues which are included. The fees for those not from our area would be as follows:
Friday Pre-Conference only: $30
Saturday Conference only: $25
Friday & Saturday: $50

Foreign Language Teachers:
Attached please find registration materials for the FLENEF Summer Conference which will be held on Saturday, July 25th at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Deerwood Campus. The conference theme is Vive le différence: Differentiated Instruction for Today's Language Learners. Please note that the registration postmark deadline is Monday, July 6th.
Our keynote speaker will be Deborah Blaz, French teacher in Indiana and author of several foreign language titles published by Eye on Education including Teaching Foreign Languages in the Block, Foreign Language Teacher's Guide to Active Learning and Differentiated Instruction: A Guide for Foreign Language Teachers. In addition to delivering our keynote address at Saturday's conference, Deb will also be presenting a pre-conference workshop (Friday, July 24th, 12:30-4:30pm) on Differentiated Instruction and Assessment.
