FLAG COPYRIGHT INFO
FLAG intends not to use any copyrighted material in its publications or to
attempt to indicate the copyrights held by others with the respective object
(text, image, logo, etc.). FLAG makes no claims on the copyright for materials
created by others (e.g. ACTFL "YOL", "Discover Languages", etc. items).
The copyright for any material created by FLAG is reserved. Any duplication
or use of objects such as images (in particular, the logo), sounds, or texts
in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without FLAG's
advance approval.
FLAG has invested resources in the development of its materials (the logo
design, documents, etc.) and intends to prevent any unauthorized use. All
use of the name and logo must adhere to the following restrictions.
- The logo may be used for non-profit purposes. Only FLAG is authorized to
use the logo and name on products to be sold. Proceeds from sales will be
reinvested for FLAG activities, projects, and initiatives. Any other commercial
use must be approved by FLAG.
- The logo must be used in its entirety and as it appears in the logo file
(here), and only according to the other
provisions of this notice. The elements in the logo may not be repositioned or altered
in any way.
- Any individual or organization wishing to reproduce FLAG materials are
asked to submit a request for such use not less than two weeks prior to the
planned use. This will give FLAG adequate time to review each request and
respond in a timely manner. Requests must include an explanation of the
intended use and a sample of that use.
- When placing the logo on a website, we ask that the logo be made an
active link to "flageorgia.org".
