FLAG respects the privacy of its members and all other subsequent visitors to its web site. FLAG feels that is an absolute necessity to be forthright and honest regarding its activities.     FLAG only collects the personal data that you knowingly and willingly provide. You voluntarily choose to submit personal information (online, via email or regular mail or per fax) that FLAG collects on an individual basis.

    Broadly speaking, FLAG uses this information for the purposes of providing, administering, and expanding its activities, and making available services to its (prospective) members. Most of the information collected is used for the sole purpose of better serving its members.

    If you choose to correspond with FLAG (or a specific FLAG representative), FLAG may retain the content of your messages together with the pertinent contact information, as well as its responses to your messages.

  2. Third Parties.

    FLAG does not share information (unless the fulfillment of our mission requires it and you are informed of that fact, e.g. conference hotel reservations etc.). Likewise, FLAG does not sell personal information.

    FLAG does not receive secure data from its service providers (for example, account information you provide to PayPal when using online dues and fees payment). Note that this web site contains links to other sites, just as others may provide links to this web site. FLAG has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy policies of such sites.

    FLAG prohibits the use of postal addresses, telephone or fax numbers and email addresses published on its website for marketing purposes. Offenders sending unwanted spam messages may be prosecuted.

    Legal Disclosure: In order to maintain web site security, or to respond to legal process, FLAG does reserve the right to disclose information as required by United States law.

  3. Redress.

    If you ever receive a message from FLAG that you did not want to receive, or believe you received in error, simply reply and ask to be removed from the respective directory. Your request will be attended to promptly.

    If any user suspects FLAG has handled his/her personal information in a manner that does not comply with this Privacy Policy, contact the president and/or the administrator.
