REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Dear FLAG Member:

Please read and pay close attention to the following information before you continue with registering for the conference. At the bottom of this page you will find everything you need in order to register.

  • The deadline for registration is February 24, 2005. After that, an additional $5 late fee applies for everyone.
    • Send the "Official Registration Form" to the address listed on the forms.
    • Make all checks payable to FLAG.
    • A fee of $25 will be charged for each check returned due to "Insufficient Funds".
    • FLAG will make NO REFUNDS after the registration deadline.
  • EVERYONE who attends the conference MUST be a FLAG member in good standing.
    • All participants, including ALL presenters, must pay FLAG dues and registration. Dues which are listed at conference time as "not paid" must be paid at registration.
    • If you have not renewed your membership at this time, do so now.
    • If your dues are not received before the registration deadline, you must repay your dues at the registration desk.
  • Send your HOTEL registration form directly to the hotel.
    • You are encouraged to make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. It is expected that the hotel will fill up very quickly. The hotel will make every effort to direct you to a nearby hotel if they are full when you try to make your reservations.
    • If you are reserving a one or two bedroom villa, please be advised that the villas have kitchens which include refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and kitchen utensils/glasses/plates/silverware. These villas are well equipped if you would like to bring your own food, beverages, etc. It would probably be advisable to purchase these things before you come on to the island. Grocery shopping is at a minimum on the island.
  • Name badges are required for entrance to ALL FLAG functions. A replacement fee of $5 will be charged for all lost badges.
  • The SDU workshop (ten hours) and the half-day workshops offered on Friday morning and Friday afternoon require registration and payment prior to the conference.
  • Other than pre-conference workshops and the PLU Classes (which require additional fees and prior registration) NO Interest Sessions will begin until 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
  • The Conference Sessions that are included in the registration fee begin at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
  • There will be a list of restaurants, menus, etc., in your registration bag at the FLAG registration desk.
    • Lunch on Saturday is included in registrations that are received prior to the deadline. Because of seating limits in the luncheon area no one registering on-site will be able to attend the FLAG luncheon.
    • Breakfast will NOT be provided by FLAG this year. There is a restaurant on-site that has a breakfast buffet at a reasonable price.
    • FLAG will provide a refreshment break on Saturday a.m. only.

Again, be sure to read the above instructions carefully before continuing with registration.
