Contributions & Guidelines

Contributions

Contributions of the following kinds are welcomed:

  • original articles on the teaching of foreign language, literature and culture;
  • papers presented at meetings;
  • announcements of meetings and reports of proceedings;
  • news items of professional interest;
  • reviews of books, materials and films;
  • creative writing by teachers and students.

If you know of an event that should be publicized, please write an article describing the event. Do you have an innovative way to teach a certain topic? Would you like to share an observation you made regarding the profession? Would you like to publicize some action research carried out in your classroom? If so, and you are a current member of FLAG, please consider submitting an article for review for publication.

Guidelines for Submissions

Submit contributions or discuss other proposals with the editor(s) (contact info here).

For the current deadline for submissions view the calendar.

  • Articles must be typed or sent on floppy disk.
  • Articles submitted on floppy disk should be written in WordPerfect or Word. Otherwise, send a typed hard copy.
  • If you include accents or special characters, please send a hard copy and mark the special characters in highlighter on the hard copy.
  • Label the disk with you name, address, date and name of article. [Disks will not be returned].
