FLAG FLES SPOKEN LANGUAGE CONTEST

Dear FLES Teachers and Coordinators,

We are happy to announce that the ANNUAL FLAG ELEMENTARY SPOKEN LANGUAGE CONTEST will be held on Saturday, April 25 at Peachtree Ridge High School from 9am to 1pm. (PRHS is located in Gwinnett County; directions are available on the website.) This contest is a wonderful event and an encouragement to young children in continuing their foreign language studies. Any current FLAG member may register a maximum of 10 FLES students (per teacher) from grades K-5. There is a $2 fee per student that is to be paid in advance. If you are not yet a FLAG member, you can find the membership form here.

You will find here a registration form, contest guidelines, information on the various categories in which students may enter, and directions to the school. Please read the instructions carefully for registering your students. Pay close attention to the categories for each grade level. Specify clearly any group performances.

Registration materials are due by March 20 (postmark or email time stamp). If you receive all of this information electronically, please proceed online as appropriate or download the attachments, complete them and mail the printed forms (all registration forms from each school together, please) back to:

You will be notified by email that your registration has been received, so be sure to include your email address on your registration form.

If you have questions or for any reason you must cancel your group's appearance, please contact one of us as soon as possible.

We need for you to participate as a judge or helper, in addition to bringing students. Please mark the registration form indicating that you will be a judge or helper. You will receive judging information as soon as all the student participants have been scheduled. Thank you in advance for helping with this fun event.
